Vote Climate Neighbours – Glen Iris
Why I’m voting climate – Alison Wright
I am voting climate because climate action needs to be taken seriously by our leaders. The evidence is clear, the world is changing. We can do something about it, but we need leadership to make it happen rapidly and responsibly
What are your main concerns?
I think we all need to do what we can to address climate change, which means working together, not just as individuals.
My kids are now young adults, and their lives will be affected by climate change much more than mine has been.
Tell us some more about why you are voting for the climate?
We need rapid action on climate in a way that ensures no one is left behind. That means collective action – encouraging others to make real change, at the local level, not just in Canberra or in the Victorian parliament.
What can we do to help?
Working together is encouraging, we can achieve more. Accurate information is important, so I have been writing about climate policy, and letterboxing.
“The power is with the people; there is nothing like an election to get people thinking about how to bring about real change.”
