Menzies for Climate Candidates Forum

Thursday, April 24, 2025 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: Manningham Function Centre, Room 2, 699 Doncaster Road, Doncaster

Which Menzies candidates will help us save money on energy bills by supporting rooftop solar and household electrification and work to secure a clean, sustainable future? Which candidate has the best policies to ensure that Australia benefits as the world transitions to clean energy? The energy transition offers significant opportunities to secure good quality jobs, clean manufacturing and green exports. Who has the policies to best grasp these opportunities and ensure a safer climate future for our kids?

This forum aims to give voters in Menzies a chance to better understand how each candidate would represent them if they were elected. Come along to hear from the candidates and ask them questions on climate and energy matters. We are delighted that climate scientist, Professor David Karoly, who is also a member of the Climate Council, will open the forum with an outline of the state of the climate.
