The group is meeting fortnightly, forging ahead – with good local networks we have already clocked up some impressive gains in this last year. If you’d like more information, please call Anne Young on 0408 586 811 or Joy Mettam on 0419 989 590.

Climate Emergency Working Group
Local Council Emergency Declarations are not only a great springboard for powerful ways to lower emissions at the local level (read away from Federal inaction), protecting our health, changing public awareness, and providing a sound scientific basis for supporting climate candidates for our upcoming local government elections. We have many thousands of signature on our local CED petitions and are meeting Councillors and candidates right now.
