Ric Brazzale is Chairman of the Green Energy Group and has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy sector.

The Green Energy Group comprises Green Energy Trading (GET) and Green Energy Markets (GEM). GET is one of the largest environmental certificate creators in Australia and is active across renewable energy and energy efficiency markets. GEM is a dynamic research and advisory business with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy and distributed generation, and improving energy efficiency.

Prior to establishing the Green Energy Group in 2007, Ric headed the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE), now the Clean Energy Council, a leading advocate for renewable energy and energy efficiency markets in Australia. Before this, Ric worked in a number of business development and finance roles with Fletcher Challenge Energy, John Holland and Woodside Petroleum.

Ric is President of the REC Agents Association and a Director of the Energy Efficiency Certificate Creators Association.

 

 

 

Mick Nolan is currently the National Engineering & Facilities Manager at Swire Cold storage. This includes responsibility for energy opex and in recent times a new Energy Efficiency role has been created to support energy efficiency.

 

Prior to working at Swire, he worked in a number of  food manufacturers in project roles, and engineering roles, over 25 years, including Cadbury, Kraft and Patties Foods. He is in the process of completing a Masters in Environment and Planning at RMIT.
