Lighter Footprints response to the Victorian Government’s The Draft Camberwell Junction Activity Centre Plan, made 2 October 2024.
Lighter Footprints agrees that Victoria needs additional housing located on public transport and close to existing medical and educational resources. However, we have concerns about certain aspects of the Victorian government’s proposed Camberwell Junction Activity Centre. In particular, these relate to loss of garden area and tree canopy, and shadowing of residential solar panels by multi-storey buildings.
