Right now we are experiencing how vital it is for Australia to have a resilient energy system. Nothing beats free energy from the sun and the wind, and Australia has world-beating renewables resources. We have asked Dr Monique Ryan MP to outline a pathway forward towards greater energy independence.
Dr Ryan will be joined in conversation with renowned global energy analyst, Tim Buckley, Director Climate Energy Finance, an expert in green energy finance, markets, and risk. How does Australia pivot towards energy self-sufficiency in our transport, agricultural, manufacturing and mining industries and minimise our dependence on fragile fossil fuel supply chains? Dr Monique Ryan is an Australian politician and former paediatric neurologist who has served as the independent Member for Kooyong since May 2022.
