Kew Candidates Forum 2026

In the lead-up to Victoria's State Election this November, it's important for our community to have the facts on climate and energy front-of-mind.
To help the Kew community understand where their candidates stand on these critical issues, Lighter Footprints will invite all major candidates for the District of Kew to speak directly to our community on climate and energy.
If we want to:
- Help Victorians stay safe from extreme weather;
- Preserve our beloved natural landscapes and biodiversity;
- Enable Victoria’s energy system to deliver more affordable, sustainable power to our communities; and
- Keep our cities and communities cooler and safer in a warming world.
We need a State Government with a strong, science-driven strategy on climate and energy.
At this public information evening, our community can hear directly from their candidates about their policies on these important issues.
Each candidate in attendance will address the audience about their climate and energy policy platform. All candidates will then participate in a moderated Q&A session and answer questions from the audience.
