State Vote Climate Campaign Kick-Off

Elections are key moments in the fight against climate change. We need to bring our A-game to ensure that, come November, our community knows where the candidates stand on climate and what is at risk. Will you help us make our Vote Climate 2026 campaign a success?
Along with our friends at the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance, we have big plans for the Kew and Hawthorn electorates and we want you to be part of them. Join us for our State Vote Climate 2026 Campaign Kick-off to hear how you can be involved!
We know the climate wars aren’t over and climate action gains can be reversed. A great deal is at stake this November:
- Support for households to electrify
- Native forests protection
- Support for the rollout of large scale renewables in the regions
- Transmission infrastructure
- Our strong state renewables and emissions reduction targets
- Policy supporting EV infrastructure
We want to be sure voters understand the importance of good climate policy and know where the candidates stand on climate so they can make an informed vote. We will be running candidate forums in Kew and Hawthorn and rolling out our candidate climate scorecard. We can’t do this without you!
